For some reason I’ve been putting off writing this for the last couple of days now and suddenly, a few hours before midnight here in the USA, I found the words.  Or rather, they found me.

I’m heading back to London next week and am excited about the 6 training events that I will be hosting in London, York and Scotland, including the EFT Level 1 and 2 trainings in London and a workshop on how to effectively overcome Shame and Guilt in York in January and my first EFT training course specifically designed for gay men, in Scotland.

Where the 12 months leading up to mid-2011 was one of the most challenging times of my life, the last 6 months were without a doubt the most profound!  I had to learn what it really means to take 100% responsibility for what I want (and don’t want) in my life, and exactly how to move towards creating my dream life.

It was a year of many firsts.

Although I’ve lived and travelled to many countries, my first trip around the world.  My first EFT trainings in Geneva and Australia.  Qualifying as a Matrix Re-imprinting practitioner. Launching my first webinars and despite initial panic ending up loving them! Launching The Passion Project For Men and The Laughing Monkey and getting wonderful and affirming feedback.  Making my first internet sale.   Launching a MMM (Money Making Moves) pilot group and being blown away by the results barely 4 weeks into the program!

It was also a year of learning to say ‘No’ more often because sometimes we have to say ‘no’ to things, people and opportunities so that we can say ‘yes’ to ourselves and to what is really important.   Walter Isaacson’s biography of Steve Jobs cites that one of the reasons he was so successful is because his skill at saying ‘No’ allowed him to focus on what was most important.

So it was a year, all right, and one that I’ll remember as a pivotal turning point in my life.

I sign off with the utmost gratitude for the privilege I have to do what I do for a living, for being able to share my life-experience with you and connect even though we may not see each other face-to-face.   I am blessed to know so many people from all over the world that reach out, connect, and share.

I heard myself say on a webinar last week ‘Take it from me – the shortest route to joy is to do what you love’.

And so it is.
